Becka Allan

With over 20 years experience working with children (and as a proud mother of three), and over 30 years piano experience, Becka is skilled in motivating children to learn, practice and enjoy piano.

Trained in England under the UK grade system, she has several distinctions awarded in theory and practical piano.
While Becka has developed her own unique piano teaching system and style, she has also trained in and provides teaching under other well-known commercial children’s piano programs.
Originally coming from England, as a Deputy Director of a charity helping people and children with disabilities, she shifted gears to combine her love of helping children and music with her skills and experience in piano.

In recent years she has guided over 50 students in her care to reach their goals.
Becka’s passion for music and teaching children works so well together and she achieves amazing results through inspiration, fun and a personality that children adore
Becka has built up a following and reputation in the Vienna, Oakton and Fairfax area that has made her highly sought after as the piano teacher that children love to learn with.

Shohreh J. Ghajar

Shohreh J. Ghajar is an acclaimed artist and musician. She has composed, performed and instructed for over 40 years. She has taught music on three continents and has put great efforts educating and inspiring young children for over two decades.

Ms. Ghajar founded the Musik of Time (MOT) to provide young children an opportunity to learn music leveraging natural aspects of human development. Ms. Ghajar developed a unique combination of cognitive and social development, incorporating language development with music. The core courses developed through this blend of teaching has introduced professional performance, Solfege, and Composing courses.

Ms. Ghajar’s skills in creative pedagogy in music focused on young children for the last two decades keeps her in high demand. Her workings with young children have also been implemented in societies that are repressed and censored like Iran. This has empowered and introduced a new universal language to express social and economic realities through the arts.
